Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) reminds us about the golden principles of Islam which were practically illustrated in the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) life.
“This day make us to retrospect over the significance of lofty values of sacrifice, tolerance, brotherhood and unity among the Muslim community,” Nawaz said.
Felicitating the Muslims across the world, the prime minister said one could succeed by following the supreme teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
Nawaz observed that the holy month of Rabiul Awwal was the month of love and affection for the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and stressed that he led a sublime way of life and everyone should follow it at individual and collective levels.
“On this day, we should reiterate our resolve to work for the progress and prosperity of the nation and the motherland,” the prime minister added.
He urged the nation to stand with the armed forces of the country – which has offered several sacrifices in Operation Zarb-e-Azb and on other fronts.
