NAUNDERO: A police team, led by Naundero DSP, on Monday arrested five Afghan nationals staying illegally near the riverine of Indus River.
The DSP, on a tip-off, conducted a search operation in village Shikari Shaikh and found five Afghan nationals, including Rozuddin, Safiullah, Abdul Wali, Wali Muhammad and Abdul Aziz Afghan and lodged FIRs against them at Garhi Khuda Bux, Naundero and Ketty Mumtaz police stations under section 304 and 14 of Foreign Act.
The FIR said that the accused were staying in Sindh illegally; hence, they have been arrested and will be deported back to their country. Cases against Wali Muhammad and Abdul Aziz will be registered at other police stations, DSP told reporters. This shows that how Afghans are hiding in most remote areas where police cannot even think of their staying.
