QUETTA: Five accused persons, including former finance secretary Mushtaq Raisani and former adviser to chief minister on finance Khalid Langove, have been indicted in Balochistan mega corruption scandal. All the accused have pleaded not guilty.
The case came up for hearing in the accountability court on Friday. The court indicted Khalid Longove, Mushtaq Raisani, former local government secretary Abdul Basit, former local board secretary Faisal Jamal and contractor Suhail Majeed.
In May last year, cash to the tune of millions of rupees was recovered from the residence of Mushtaq Raisani after his arrest. It also came to light that the accused owned bungalows in Karachi Defence.
