ISLAMABAD: Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has said that Pakistan has won the confidence of foreign investors and international economic institutions for its realistic policies.
Addressing the foundation-laying ceremony of University of Health Sciences Kala Shah Kaku campus, near Lahore on Sunday, he said that Pakistan has been declared a fast developing economy.
He said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has provided Pakistan with a great opportunity to become a growing economy. He said that the GDP stands at five percent mark today and it can touch seven to eight percent in the next few years through democratic stability.
Ahsan Iqbal said that the government has overcome load-shedding to a great extent as the country faced eighteen to twenty hours load-shedding in 2013.
