KARACHI: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Anti-Corruption and Crime Circle have arrested a man involved in illegal selling and manufacturing of life saving injections “Dayline” and “Sonnet”.
According to FIA, in connection with Drug Case FIR No 16/2017 of FIA, ACC, Karachi, which was registered against accused Tahir Khokhar (presently in judicial custody) and Zeeshan regarding illegal manufacturing and sale of “Dayline” and “Sonnet”, accused Muhammad Tahir arrested earlier while the accused Muhammad Zeeshan was absconding in the case.
Therefore, the IO Azam Mir deployed personal sources and arrested Muhammad Zeeshan S/O Sardar Muhammad Sajid Khan CNIC # 42201-3095213-7who is an employee of M/S Saffron Pharma as Senior Territory Manager is involved in the alleged crime in connivance with his accomplices and the accused Muhammad Tahir Khokhar.
The accused Zeeshan voluntarily admitted his guilt regarding involvement in the crime of arranging the boxes, preparing/ making drugs products “Sonnet Injection” and “Dayline Injection of M/S High-Q” suspected to be spurious, misbranded/ substandard, unwarranted.
During interrogation accused Muhammad Zeeshan pointed out the place from where he used to get print the boxes/covers of injection.
Hence, a raid was conducted at premises of M/S F.A. Printers Shop No.1,2, 1st Floor, Karim Lodge, Ture Wala Building, Gari Khata, Arambagh, Karachi and recovered a huge quantity of printed boxes of drug products “Dayline Injection” and “Sonnet Injection” alongwith a Dozens of printing plates.
The owner of M/S F.A. Printers Shop Muhammad Saad failed to give any plausible justification and satisfactory reply regarding printing and the recovered incriminating printed materials as mentioned above and voluntarily admitted his guilt having no legal authority for above recovered printing materials/ items, hence, was taken into custody and the material seized under proper memo.
