LAHORE: Harbanspura Police Station claimed to have solved a murder case and arrested a suspect for the murder of minor boy.
SSP Investigation Lahore Ghulam Mubashir Mekan said on Wednesday that a two-and-a-half year old boy had gone missing a few months ago. The police had registered a case against the abduction of the child and started an investigation. A suspect, Muhammad Tahir, the uncle of the victim, Muhammad Subhan, was also taken into custody.
During interrogation, the suspect confessed to his crime. He told the police that after a quarrel with family members, he took his nephew to the BRB Canal and threw him into it. The father of the deceased is living abroad where he earning a living.
