SARGODHA: At least eight people were killed and several others were killed while on duty at a stone crushing site near Sargodha.
Rescue officials rushed to the site and recovered 8 dead bodies and two injured workers from the site with the help of heavy machinery meanwhile eye witness stated that the incident occurred as the labourers were climbing up some ropes to plant explosive devices on the mountain, but unfortunately before they could reach the desired areas a landslide occurred and took the workers with it.
According to sources, about nine people have died in the past 15 days in similar incidents area under similar circumstances in the same area.
