LAHORE: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal has ordered the department to follow 179 mega corruption cases with ‘logical conclusions’.
He said that Pakistan is under huge debt that reaches almost USD 84 billion.
He instructed the officials to pursue the cases without any form of external pressures and possible influences. He further added that, around 96 mega corruption references were forwarded to courts, while officials are investigating another 25 references and 25 more are under probes.
He further affirmed that the accountability bureau would do everything to take the ‘looted’ money back to national treasury.
