ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi on Tuesday arrested Ex-Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) Imtiaz Inayat Elahi and Member Finance CDA Saeed-Ur-Rehaman over alleged corruption and misuse of authority in cultural complex construction at Shakarparian.
According to details, Imtiaz Inayat Elahi allegedly directed stoppage of work without stating legitimate reasons and that the former chairman ‘misused his authority’ causing loss to the the national exchequer.
The accused were produced before the accountability court earlier today, where the court granted physical remand of 7 days into NAB custody for further investigation as per law.
