DADU: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has expressed his reservations over the insulting language used by Minister for Works and Services Imdad Pitafi for MPA Nusrat Sahar Abbasi in the Sindh Assembly.
Media reports cited the chief minister as saying that action would be taken against the minister and that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto had taken notice of the incident.
Murad Ali Shah was addressing public gatherings in Sehwan Sharif on Sunday. He said that the PPP government had been serving the people of the province for the past nine years.
He further said that PPP was a public party and it had started preparations for the upcoming general elections. He added that the government was focusing on completing development projects related social sectors, education and health.
He said the PPP was the future of Pakistan and the four demands put forth by the PPP chairman were for the protection of democracy and Pakistan. He added that failure to fulfill these demands had led to the drive against the PML-N government.
The CM visited the villages of Wahur, Abad and Dohri of the union council of Wahur. He was accompanied by local PPP leaders Sardar Sikandar Rahpoto, Amanullah Shahani, Syed Mohammad Shah, Sardar Adam Khan Bhand, Mumtaz Bhand, Syed Asif Ali Shah and Adam Maingal.
