ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb on Sunday said the Supreme Court has rejected Imran Khan’s plea in the Panama Papers case.
In a statement, she said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will continue to serve the people. She said before alleging others, Kaptaan should look at himself first.
She said the PTI would have to answer people’s questions for its negative politics during the upcoming general elections.
Separately, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Asif Kirmani said the nation stands shoulder to shoulder with Nawaz.
In a statement, he said, “We will show our opponents what the power of masses is.” He said ‘Get Nawaz Operation’ of the opponents has miserably failed.
He said the PPP should clean the filth of Karachi first before pointing fingers at others. He said Imran Khan had been waiting for the signal of the umpire, but he had been disappointed.
Meanwhile, PML-N leader Talal Chaudhry said the PPP is using the ‘Sindh card’ to deflect criticism on their back-to-back administrative failures in the province.
Speaking to a private TV channel, Talal alleged that the “gang of thieves are issuing statements in panic and frustration”, adding, “PPP has looted Sindh for eight years – they have turned Karachi into garbage den.”
