KARACHI: A dacoit has been gunned down during alleged police encounter while his 2 accomplices have fled the scene within jurisdiction of Jackson police in Karachi.
The alleged encounter took place in the area of Kimari Gulshan Sikandarabad within Jackson Police station jurisdiction. Police have recovered a piston and 2 bullets from him. The identity of dacoit could not be ascertained.
Meanwhile in Gulberg and Pakistan Bazaar, Police rounded four drug peddlers and recovered one kg Charas, four TT pistols, two motorcycles and four cell phones. Police have shifted the body of the dacoit to the Edhi Mortuary for identification.
