ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain has emphasized the need for promoting development oriented research to compete with modern day challenges.
He was addressing the awards ceremony of National Research Program for Universities in Islamabad on Wednesday. The president said that research and development are interlinked and by cementing the bond between the two we can cater the emerging needs of our industries and development agencies.
He called upon all stakeholders to play their constructive role for the culmination of ongoing development projects in the country. He stressed the need for providing, enabling and inclusive environment in the educational institutions that encourages and grooms new ideas.
