RAWALPINDI: The transfer of 38 female teachers of Rawalpindi district to remote areas has caused them discomfort and they have labeled this move as against the norms of ‘chadar and chardevari’.
These teachers have been posted from the primary schools of Rawalpindi to the hilly rural areas and have been instructed to handover charge immediately at schools atleast a 100 kilometres away from their residences.
The primary school teachers and their families have recorded their protest against this unjust and sudden move by the education department Rawalpindi.
And the teachers have claimed that the transfer of low paid teachers to such areas is against work ethic.
The female teachers have decide to go to court and challenge their postings.
