RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Super League (PSL) final in Lahore has not only excited the cricket fans but also charmed the political leaders of the country.
Awami Muslim League (AML) Chairman Sheikh Rasheed is one lawmaker who has supported the idea of PSL final in Punjab’s provincial capital. He set off from Rawalpindi towards Lahore on Saturday.
The MNA from one of the twin cities took selfies with kids on his way from home and decided to travel through train. He has pledged full support to the Peshawar Zalmi team.
“I will watch the match with the rest of the crowd while blowing cigar. Najam Sethi did sent an invitation but no match pass,” the lawmaker said.
Earlier, it was reported that Sheikh Rasheed had purchased a match ticket worth Rs 500 to witness the contest on Sunday in Gaddafi Stadium of Lahore.
