WAH CANTT: POF Board Chairman Lt Gen Omar Mahmood Hayat attends a colourful function as the chief guest at the Nasheman College for Special Children on the eve of International Disabled Day.
The chief guest visited various stalls prepared by the special children who also sang national songs and presented tableau show. Addressing on this occasion, the POF Board chairman remarked that special children expressed their thoughts and feeling by presenting various shows in such a way that it realises that these children were really special and their capabilities were not less than others. He said that the college holds a special identity in this region and the performance of the students was extra ordinary and appreciable and it needs to improve further. On arrival at the college, Omar Hayat was received by POF Welfare Trust Managing Director Taqdees Ahmed and Principal Farhana Tanveer. The POF Board chairman said that the college staff should work honesty by utilizing all available resources.
Addressing the ceremony, Taqdees Ahmed said that the Nasheman College has been striving hard to serve the humanity. The principal and teachers of this college deserved appreciation for their untiring efforts for the rehabilitation of special children. Earlier, the principal in her welcoming remarks said that the object of celebrating the Disabled Day was to make it realize to the society that special children were the vital part of the society.
