HYDERABAD: A student of Sindh University was killed and a police constable was injured in a road accident between a truck and a motorbike on Super Highway in Jamshoro on Friday.
According to the police, the truck hit a bike from behind, leaving both the bike riders injured. One of the injured later succumbed to his injuries. The deceased was identified as Irfan Ali and the injured constable was Taufeeq Ahmed.
The police said the truck driver escaped from the scene along with the vehicle.
The incident’s FIR had not been lodged.
