KARACHI: Former president Pervez Musharraf has revealed which team he isrooting for in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final on Sunday.
While speaking to a private television channel, the former president responded to a question that asked which team he would support in the PSL final. He named the “underdog team” Quetta Gladiators as his pick.
Musharraf also hailed the decision of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif of holding the PSL final in Lahore.
On the other hand, veteran politician Sheikh Rasheed said that he is supporting Peshawar Zalmi because Pakhtoons were being victimised of ethnic-profiling.
Peshawar Zalmi qualified for PSL 2017 final after defeating Karachi Kings by 24 runs in the third play-off in Dubai.
Peshawar Zalmi will take on Quetta Gladiators in this year’s final on Sunday.
