MURREE: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday promised that he would succeed in the courts of God and the public. Talking to the media in Murree, Nawaz said that the process of development that his government had started would continue at a fast pace. The deposed premier said that the love that the people had shown for him was an honour. He mingled with the common people during his visit while his daughter Maryam Nawaz filmed the scenes on her phone. When a local voter complained about the delay in the process of laying the natural gas pipeline in the area, Nawaz promised to raise the matter with PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, upon which the crowd raised slogans in his favour.
