DUBAI: Pakistan were bowled out for 482 on Monday in their first innings on the second day of the first Test against Australia in Dubai.
Haris Sohail dominated that Aussie bowling with 110 runs while Asad Shafiq scored 80 after Pakistan resumed the day at 255-3 in Dubai, however, Pakistan lost last six wickets for 72 runs in quick succession.
Fast bowler Peter Siddle finished with 3-58 while off-spinner Nathan Lyon took 2-114.
Australia batted well to finish the day at 30/0.
On first day of the test match, Mohammad Hafeez marked his return to Test cricket with a century as Pakistan reached 255-3 at stumps.
Australia’s attack then tightened things up after the two openers were back in the dressing room.
Azhar Ali departed with a little over three overs remaining, caught at mid-off by Mitchell Starc for an 80-ball 18 while trying to hit Holland out of the ground.
