KARACHI: Nepal’s Ambassador Sewa Lamsal Adhikari called on Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair at the Governor’s House on Wednesday.
During the meeting, both the officials discussed bilateral trade affairs in detail. On this occasion, the Sindh governor said, “Pakistan’s biggest problem is energy and to resolve this problem, the federal government has established projects while special focus is also being given on energy projects under Pakistan China Economic Corridor (CPEC).”
He further said, “After restoration of peace in the province, a lucrative investment environment is prevalent in Sindh, and the provincial government is also providing all possible cooperation to bolster investment.”
Ambassador Sewa told Sindh governor that Nepal had accepted that peace had been restored in Pakistan and that Nepal’s investors are also interested in investing in Pakistan, especially Sindh.
Meanwhile, Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair also called on Indonesia’s Consul General Dempo Awang Huddie at Governor House today. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations, investment, and the overall regional situation and other matters of mutual interest.
The Sindh governor said, “Peace situation for investment in Sindh, especially in Karachi, is very favorable for investors. Sindh is full of natural resources, where trained and educated human resources are also available while Karachi has a very attractive environment for investment.”
He said that people who had already invested in the province were reaping ample profits, hence Indonesian investors could take advantage of this situation.
