FAISALABAD: Operations Chief Engineer Sheikh Amil Hussain Siddiqui suspended sub-divisional officer and line superintendent on the charges of negligence in Faisalabad.
FESCO Spokesperson Tahir Sheikh said Assistant Lineman of Chak Jhumra Sub-Division No-1 Muhammad Yousuf had died from an electric shock while removing faults at an electricity pole.
While taking notice of the incident, the chief engineer suspended SDO (Operations) Muhammad Ali and Lineman Muhammad Zaheer Anwar for showing negligence. They were also directed to report to Xen Operations in Mianwali Division and Xen Operations in Bhakkar Division respectively, he added.
