SARGODHA: City police sealed seven illegal gas decanting points in different areas of Sargodha on Thursday.
Police spokesman said raids were conducted at Qainchi Morr, Block 15, Muradabad and Block 13. Seven people were arrested for decanting gas illegally in their shops. Those arrested were identified as Asif, Nasir, Qadir, Khurram Shahzad, Fayyaz, Sajid and Akram. Meanwhile, 22 drug peddlers were apprehended while 6.530 kg drugs, 470 bottles of liquor, seven pistols, two guns, three rifles and two revolvers were confiscated from them.
The accused were identified as Karam Khan, Ashraf, Usman, Munir Ahmad, Shahbaz, Afzal, Gulzar, Ghulam Abbas, Zahid, Ashir, Zulqurnain, Mudassar, Asim Omer, Saleem and others.
