LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Friday went to the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s residence at Jati Umra in Lahore to serve bailable arrest warrants to his children and son-in-law, media reports say.
Reportedly, the NAB officials returned unsuccessful because the defendants are presently in London to see recovering mother Kulsoom Nawaz.
The accountability court hearing the corruption cases against the Sharif family had issued bailable arrest warrants for former prime minister’s daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif, sons Hussain and Hasan Nawaz and son-in-law Capt (retd) Safdar on Tuesday.
