PESHAWAR: Awami National Party (ANP) chief Asfandyar Wali Sunday said that ousted prime minister had gone back on his word on the merger of Federally Administered Tribal Areas with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Addressing a rally in Chamkani area in connection with the upcoming NA-4 by-polls, scheduled for October 26, Wali alleged that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led provincial government was utilising government’s resources in electioneering for the by-polls.
He demanded the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chief to take action against all those named in the Panama leaks. He reiterated that the Awami National Party would ramp up efforts needed for FATA-KP merger.
He asserted that the government of Tehreek-e-Insaf had not done anything for the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the last four years.
