HYDERABAD: A two-day exhibition of livestock, dairy, fisheries, poultry, and agriculture (LDFA) was held.
A large number of people thronged to the exhibition to enjoy the unique cattle parade, horse and camel dance, birds and flower show.
The event was organised by the Sindh Enterprise Development Fund (SEDF) and Sindh Board of Investment in collaboration with Sindh Agriculture University, Tando Jam and Livestock & Fisheries Department and Agriculture. The event provided opportunities and exporters, importers, investors, financial institutions, banks, manufacturers, rural entrepreneurs, food manufacturers, industries and communities all used the forum to make contacts and network.
More than 350 animals, indigenous and cross breeds, like buffalo, cow, goat, sheep, horse and camels were exhibited at the livestock section, which attracted people in large numbers. These breeds were brought from Kachho, Kohistan, Thar Desert, Ghotki, Matiari and other parts of the province.
Stalls of date products also attracted people. Handicrafts items made in different artisan towns were displayed at various stalls for buyers.
Sindh Agriculture University Tando Jam also actively took part in the animal show and presented pure Kundhi Buffalo bulls maintained at University’s livestock farms.
The artists who performed at the event included Khushboo Leghari, Urs Bhat, Piaro Faqeer, Khamiso Khan, Noor Muhammad Morai, Taj Muhammad Paleejo, Qadir Bakhsh Mithoo, Raza Alan Faqeer and others.
