GUJRANWALA: Illegal liquor bottles being transported in the city were discovered after a crash on Hafizabad road between two trucks caused the bottles to be strewn across the road.
Both the trucks, which collided when coming in opposite directions, overturned in the crash resulting in the almost 5,000 alcohol bottles falling out and being littered along the road.
Both the truck drivers fled the scene.
The police reached the area and impounded both the trucks along with the illegal alcohol.
