KARACHI: Under the leadership and management of Arts Council’s Special Events Committee, Basant Bahar Family Festival is being organised on March 19, 2017, on Sunday.
Members of Arts Council and their families will be handed out prizes worth millions of rupees, through lucky draws, which was announced by the Special events Committee Chairman Shaikh Rashid Alam, during a press conference.
He also stated that the purpose of organising this one-day event is to provide our members and their families a chance of healthy entertainment, which represents the true spirit through which Arts Council operates, to revive the spirit of Karachi by making it the hub of culture and literature once again.
Alam further stated the details of the event, saying that it will start at 12pm and the celebrations will carry on till 12am without any interruptions.
Arts council’s members and their families will be welcomed with the handing out of sweets, bangles, gajras and candies. There will be stalls of different traditional foods and famous brands at the same time game shows, pet shows, face painting magic shows will be put up for women and children to enjoy.
An exclusive display of cultural dances will also be exhibited in the event. There will also be a bhangra night and music concert arranged, in which Pakistan’s famous singers will be invited, and the celebrations will be concluded with a grand display of fireworks.
