KHAIRPUR: At least two people were died other 35 hurt in two separate road mishaps in Bhirya city and Gambat on Wednesday.
According to Bhirya police a datsun pickup loaded with passengers was going to Bhitshah from Shikarpur when reached near Bhirya city, it over turned resulted two people including Zaheeruddin Arain-50 and Imran Ahmed Shaikh-20 was died on the spot while other 16 people including Abdul Sattar, Fatima, Hamza Sattar, Ali Asghar Shah, Amir Shaikh Ghulam farid, Bahadur Ali, Shameer, Muhammad Ibarhim, Ilyas Shah and other were injured and they brought to Naushehroferoze and Bhirya hospital while two injured Bahadur Ali and Baber Ali shifted to Nawabshah hospital due to critical condition. Police said that cause of incident was over speed
Mean while in another incident 17 passengers were wounded when a speeding coach turned turtle at the National Highway near Miskeenpur village in Gambat town of Sindh. The ill-fated coach was going to Bahawalpur from Karachi. Eye-witnesses said that the accident occurred due to over-speeding in which 17 people were wounded. Motor way police, Gambat Police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the injured to GIMS hospital Gambat and Khairpur. Rescue sources said that women and children were among the injured.
