KARACHI: Search operations by police on Wednesday in the city have resulted in the arrest of at least eight suspects including an alleged female robber.
A police team conducted a raid in the Khawaja Ajmir Nagri area of the provincial capital and arrested female robber Hasina along with accomplice Sajid. According to police, both the suspects were involved in snatching motorcycles.
Meanwhile, the police also arrested three robbers in injured condition during an encounter in the Karimabad area. An accused, involved in breaking the locks of shops, was also arrested during a raid by police in the Tibet Centre area.
In a separate operation, police raided a hideout in New Karachi area and arrested two suspects carrying weapons. The police have shifted the detainees to relevant police stations for further investigations.
