ISLAMABAD: Law enforcement agencies arrested several suspects in country wide crackdown on suspected terrorists under Radd-ul-Fasaad operation the in wee hours of Sunday.
Police and Rangers in a joint-operation arrested two suspects during search operation in Punjab areas including Dhok Wilayat, Dhok Haider and Chak Mora.
The Law Enforcement personnel also recovered six SMGs, seven 12-bore Guns, Pistols, Rifles and ammunition after confessions of the arrested suspects. A first information report (FIR) was also lodged against them.
Separately, police and intelligence agencies in a raid detained eight suspected people from Badami Bagh in Lahore including three Afghan nationals.
Moreover, security agencies conducted search operations at 22 places in Bahawalpur. Identity of 400 people was also verified through bio-metric device during the raid.
In another raid, police arrested five suspects in Liquatpur city of South Punjab.
Suspects were also held in Karachi
Police arrested several miscreants during raids in different parts of Karachi.
The LEAs arrested two suspects from Gulbahar area while weapons and a stolen motorcycle were also recovered from their possession.
Meanwhile police in Darakhshan nabbed two suspects who were wanted by Khairpur police.
Separately, law enforcers in Machko area foiled a bid of smuggling Iranian diesel. Around 2000 litres of Diesel was seized while arrests were also made in this connection.
