KARACHI: The FIA Cyber Crime Circle has arrested a person for allegedly sending vulgar messages to women by using an account containing pictures of his former wife.
According to details, a complaint was received regarding heinous crime against modesty of woman on the social media. A raid was conducted at Rafa-e-Aam Society in Karachi, during which the FIA team arrested an accused identified as Arshad Hadi for allegedly sending vulgar messages to women through Facebook and WhatsApp, using pictures of his former wife. Incriminating material was also recovered from
his Facebook account and laptop.
An FIR, under Section 21 of the PECA r/w 419 & 500 PPC, has been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway, according to FIA officials.
