KASUR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan was again left holding his head after a rally, as mishaps and disorderly conduct from party workers distracted headlines from his speech.
After Khan had completed his address to participants in the rally in Kasur, party workers resorted to destruction and disorder; breaking tables and seizing chairs and speakers to take along with them.
In addition, there were reports of male party members entering the restricted area reserved for women, with one alleged incident of misconduct with a female member emerging.
Violent encounter with security were also reported, with some over-exuberant participants, who were trying to break through the barbed wires bounding the stage from the general public, being baton charged by forces.
